I sometimes come across as rather "old-fashioned" and there is a reason for that. For security reasons, I don't want to write more about this. But for the uncritical believers in technology, here's a small impression of Ryan Montgomery, whom I was also able to experience professionally. Nice guy, by the way!
Just be aware!

Definitely in the right thread.
What‘s wrong, what‘s right? What‘s W.T.F.? It‘s not about me … and almost certainly not about you. You're worse than a „Blockwart“. 😆

His attitude is probably conditioned by experience. Somebody with a broken strap is likely a customer, somebody just browsing doesn't have any need of immediate replacement and will most likely buy on line if it is cheaper.

Speaking of which ... W.T.F.! CVE-2023-4863 with some far-reaching consequences … (especially for older devices still in use - not only Google Chrome).

gzt: Based on things I've seen on the road I often think if the average person had a firearm in the glovebox overnight it would be wall to wall shootouts on the road every day. Some people just need to chill out. It's a license to drive a car not a license to own a road.. every road.. all the time.. and even more on Sundays..
This is why Americans drive on the other side of the road. Most people are right handed so it keeps their gun in the middle of the car.
