I haven't had any bargains lately. I picked up some food for a barbeque. It is still busy on weekends so I almost regretted it. Early weekday nights are ok. Costco Fuel now accepts Visa officially. Costco Fuel opening hours on Google Maps say 9:30pm six days a week. That will be good if correct.

Hopefully they are well underway in looking for a site in Wellington and Christchurch.

Can only assume for Wellington that it would end up either in Taita or Porirua due to how much land they need.

I thought they already had consent for the industrial zone out in Rolleston?

I know people who shop regularly there for consumables. I'm more of a bargain hunter visitor. Gotta have food to make the visit convenient in my day. I'd go look more often if they provided sms notification for the food ordering. Standing around in a crowd of a hundred people for 20 minutes waiting like cattle for the trough is not something I will repeat.

Joined Costco over the holidays as we'll be spending a bit of time out west over the coming months. I didn't find the pricing to be great for most things. Today, I decided to get fuel at Costco, after hearing about the great savings others are making. When we came past the Mobile station about 1km from home, we found their retail price was exactly the same, and it would have been $0.06 cheaper per litre using a Smiles card, so that was a waste of time.

The Kirkland brand goods (Costco's home brand) are probably where the most savings are to be made, and of course I can't get that elsewhere. Otherwise, I'm going to need to eat a lot of croissants and roast chicken to justify the membership cost.

I believe you can cancel within a certain timeframe and get your money back.

That certain time is 365 days - you can cancel for a full refund at any time.

Anyone had a warranty issue resolved by Costco? Have confirmed a fault with an electrical item I purchased from them. Called and they said email.

I emailed all the details over 10 days ago and Nada.

Sorta on topic. Im a keen gardener, very geek like. I grow lots of tomatoes. This time of year they should be 95c a kilo, a quick Google says its about $9 to $12. What is Costco doing them for? (Im in CHC so Costco free here) Yes, I am aware of weather issues, just asking
