Saw the other day also, thought it was great. Also I really hate those Cadbury adverts with the kids and the eyebrows.

Delicious, finished the Milk Chunks earlier tonight and we are now dining on their scrumptious White Chocolate block.

Dark Ghana for work tomorrow, that's toxic stuff but oh so good!

Bah.. who cares about Cadbury!

I'm here in Europe eating real chocolate - Milka is fantastic along with virtually anything that comes from Belgium!

I'm bringing back my usual supply of Swiss made Nestle White Chocolate. Unlike cheap and nasty Milky Bar this stuff ic chokka full of cocoa butter so tastes amazing.

I don't think Cadbury expected the reaction that has occured - but IMHO their chocolate has always been cheap nasty rubbish anyway, it's good to see lots of other people now realising this!

I much prefer to buy NZ owned, operated and made whenever possible.

With Whittakers being made here in Porirua, and Cadbury now being made in that horrible country across the ditch, I know that even though I like Whittakers better anyway, I'll be making an even more concious effort to purchase Whittakers.

You probably find they did - Considering the same thing happened when Arnotts moved there production over the ditch.

End of the day if you want a "Higher" quality of chocolate you pay for it as with everything else in life.

What is the %?  Whittakers has 28%, I've found it to be pretty good for a "budget" brand.

I meant of the Nestle? White "Chocolate". I think Dream has 20% (+ vegetable fat), Milkybar doesn't advertise the proportion, so guess less than 20% even. Whittakers has 28% cocoa butter and no vegetable fat!

I don't think most people care about the quality of their white chocolate (probably why some people don't like it) but Whittakers wins there too.

Yeah my understanding is Nestle uses more vege fat than Cadbury. Saw Snack on the shelf today in the 110G size.

I don't usually like white chocolate but the only Whittakers one is the only one that doesn't taste like old butter.

I used to love cadbury but can taste the difference. Cadbury really ought to revert back and also bring out a new luxurious range with extra cocoa to make up for it I think.

I had a rant about it on my blog too: http://voxpop.net.nz/2009/07/01/cadburys-big-mistake/

Plus I love Whittakers current advertising stance about "the facts" and making it sound delicious, in comparison to cadbury's crazy horse on a moro ad and weird eyebrow thing.
