As long as you have a standard DVB-S box its a peice of cake really. Grab a compass and confirm the current angle matches D1 spec.. http://www.freeviewshop.co.nz/dish-angle-calculator-i-16.html

Add the Sat details into your searcher. Add a TP or 2 from lyngsat or as posted here... move the dish left ever so slightly from looking at it from behind to where its pointing. (may require a tiny amount of tilt anti clockwise too) and wait for the signal to appear.

But in saying that, it took me about 30mins to get it last night with a dish sitting on a block of wood in my driveway. And getting back to D1 if you can't find it could end up needing a visit from installer :)

Bugger aboot Murphs record. I guess it was bound to happen with car advancements :( At least richards or another kiwi coulda done it.

On the the flipside.. many ford fans will be now fighting it out saying its the driver not the car since he jumped ship lol

Just scanned Optus D2
12679V SR 6670
WORLD FEED

yay!! :)

edit: Its not in 4:2:2 format either so any standard (non locked down) sat box should pick it up if your prepared to move your dish 8 degrees to the left

Can anyone tell me if the World Feed has replays/commentary. if not then best just stick to TV3 cos the replays are quite good some time. Will be trying to find it tomorrow when setting up the projector for big screen racing

Yes you get the aussie commentators as TV3 pipe it. And in theory all the replays. Its the raw feed going up to the sat, and back down to people like TV3

But when they goto ad breaks, you keep getting video with no audio :D:D

And don't get them cutting to the 3 'studio' for banter.

Sounds good to me let's hope we can get a good signal down here in good old shield country. Will try it out tomorrow during qualifying.
