Surprised TVNZ didnt have a live feed of the Police update at the scene!

Any other news? maybe she went wandering and fell in the drain, or foul play confirmed?

No other news, and I doubt we will hear any more until 9 or 10am tomorrow. Unless Bob Harvey speaks too soon again?

I personally think Bob has shown extremely poor taste (almost to douchebag level) in giving an announcement to a newspaper before either police or the family did it.

such sad news!
was on the road side for a hour earlier on this evening.
i wonder how they missed the body, when they has so many searchers looking in and around that area?
very sad story and outcome.
my feelings are with the family.

Very sad :(

My own daughter is 2 and I just cant even start to think how Id feel.....

I helped with a search for a 5 yr old girl last year, just seeing the parents grief was hard enough. Thankfully that search ended well.
