I am looking at entering this year (me and a friend are trying to put a team together)

Has anyone here done it before? How is it?

Anyone looking for a team to join?

Ohhhh! A fellow MTB'er! I'm doing the Colville Challenge this year (the tea and scones trip, though as my level of fitness is woeful!)

I'm going to mark this as an event for next year, though...

Where is it, I had a look around the website but I couldn't find much information, though I probably am just blind.

I did Colville Connection a few years ago, came off my bike on the gravel road doing 50km/h & still have the scars to show for it!

It is out near Ngarawahia (outside of Hamilton on SH1)

Yeah, I have only just in the last 2 years got back into mountain biking (from when I used to muck around on bikes when I was a wee lad)

I am loving it at the moment, I currently go out to the Pukete track in hamilton and give that a bash as often as I can. and when I have the time I try to get to Rotorua to do the tracks down there.

ohh I did that last year (Colville Connection), it pissed down for almost the whole race, made it a bit interesting.

I've thought about doing black stump, seems like a good track/race, training for Colville again at the moment
