Heya, having a bit of trouble trying to connect my new remote to my Uniden Immoboliser (pretty sure it's a VS2600XR or VS1600XR - not too sure)

Have got the instruction manual from unidens website and it says to "enter the first digital security code via the valet switch" This means absolutely nothing to me, can anyone please help explain how to do this to a very confused blonde chick? :)

Cheers,
Nicola

You should have been given a code when the alarm was installed, and there should be a little switch hidden somewhere, possibly under the dash somewhere.

the valet switch is a little red button witch is normally located under the dash under on the kick panel. or in the glove box or in the fuse box. you enter the code with a series of button push's on that RED button. on another alarm systems you can enter it using the ignition switch call uniden customer services they can help you with this.
