My wife and her ipad would be indebted to me whilst we travel and I could use it with my trusty netbook at the same time. Whata toy oops tool to have.

that would be an ecumenical matter

I'll give my current 2degrees USB modem to the runner up if I win, as a booby prize that isn't a booby (both pun and otherwise)

I should win it, because I would use it to provide free wifi to the visitors to the Wellington waterfront.

Wait, hang on a minute.... TradeMe beat me to it again!

I should win it as this is exactly what I need for when on holiday as I have a few wifi devices (ipod, laptop) and not usually around any free wifi and go with no email for weeks.

I will use it to share my internet connection at home so that I can read every damn post in Geekzone, Engadget, TechCrunch and gdgt while my wife is busy reading new recipes in her even bigger list of cooking blogs in my other laptop.

Also after I buy iPhone 4 in October and convert my existing 2 Degrees SIM to MicroSIM, I can improve my productivity by reading simultaneously  in iPhone screen as well :-)

I would you use this device to finally dump my fixed line provider and surf the net using the 2 degrees network. Isn't competition great to not only bring down pricing but to give the consumer more choice.

I could finally use the internet all day long! Without having to use my uber-fast 17kbps dial-up that frequently drops out! It would be awesome! The laptop, smartphone and desktop all on the internet at once too! 21st century, hopefully here I come!

I would love to keep this for myself as I'm a major gadget geek, though I would give it to my sister. She is a mother of three who lives on a small income. She goes without a phone line for financial reasons and obviously can't afford "naked broadband". She is trying to study but things are difficult without access to the internet at home. Prepaid broadband would make life so much easier for her and it would be great as the rest of us could help out by topping her up when we can afford it!

I lost my old car router (which was a WRT54GL) to my old flatmates, basically this router sat in my glovebox connected to a eeePC 701 with a Vodem, so if I was in a place where there was no internet I could sit in my car with a coffee and use the internet there.

These flatmates stole quite a bit off me, of which they have never given back or anything. Somewhere there is my iPod touch was was taken from my room without permission and never returned to me, plus there is also my awesome modded WRT which has gone missing also. I have also had quite a few other things taken.

It would be good to get a all in one solution for my car, it was cool having a router in there since if I parked up anywhere I could have internet (assuming the place I was at was close to my car)  - But since this little modem is literally small, I could have it in my laptop bag and have internet anywhere without draining my phones battery.

This also looks like the type of thing you could wear as bling, but not sure if this would help me with attracting some chicks.

I plan to mount my ipad onto my motorbike, this would save me from having to mount my old Nokia E90 to the handlebars and tethering it, it also might be safer

Roadtrip! Now I can choose a coffee shop based on the coffee, rather than wireless access...
