And one of the deaf people I know had his cochlear implant switched on today - 40 years of zero hearing, and can now hear...

I strongly believe it should be a compulsory subject in NZ Schools, Not only useful for those who are hairing impaired but also useful when we are all hearing impaierd, IE, noisy environments or due to accident's and of course, old age, my hearing aint what it used to be, too many concerts and loud gigs.Tongue out


I should put it to the government. It would be a breakthrough.


Is it an international standard? imagine, anyone can communicate, no matter where they are from.
