I dunno why they don't just automatically add it, it's advertising the sale on the homepage but it still makes you add the coupon.

Yeah. Still my bad for not noticing it though. I have a bad habit of taking a bull in a china shop approach to purchases, especially tech related ones (these are software development books).

Even when I've bought things from 3rd parties using Amazon as a proxy, it's still rare for anything to take as long as 2 weeks. The NZ postal system is pretty good so very little delay is introduced by us.

Got this reply from The Book Depository today:-

"I can confirm that I have refunded you for 10% of your order. Please allow 1-3 working days for the amount to appear back in your account.

If you make any further orders whilst we are running this promotion you will need to enter the code yourself. When you view your basket, there should be the option to input the code towards the top of the page just above the list of titles in your basket. Very impressed so far with this level of service.
