A tablet would be nice - much better than a book :-)

Android is open source, right?  Anything that is open source is good for me.

My IDEOS 8150 does a pretty good job but it's (a) small and (b) doesn't support Flash Frown
I've just signed up for a years subscription to Lynda.com - so the Acer tablet with its great graphics would be spot on for watching the video tutotrials as well as reading all the pdf tutorials I've downloaded, without having to sit with an overheating notebook on my knees. Perfect! Cool
IDEOS 8150

This would be very nice to have as it would escalate me quickly up the coolness ladder from my current status on the first rung.

No photo included as it would only be of an empty table - which actually happens to be the closest I get to tablet.

I don't need any Android tablet as even my first iPad is more useful than the highest spec non iPad tablet because of the awesome app store, bit thanks for asking :-)

Just being honest, but I would be happy to win this tablet coz I need some money.... ie I'll sell it lol

Thanks guys!!

A proper tablet/phone would be a nice change from my 5 year old Nokia! :)

There are just so many reasons I need to have one of these not the least of which is that they are just cool and geeky!

I find my current tablet rig difficult to carry around.  I doesn't really fit in my pocket, or even my backpack, and is hard to set up on the bus.  Reading e-books is a little slow as they need to load of tape, and this can take several minutes.  Sometimes you have to load them a few times before it works.   It doesn't do Twitter.

My current Tablet rig.

On the bright side, it does have some of the best games ever written (Manic Miner, Jet Set Willy, Jet Pac, Head Over Heels) and it makes trendy "retro" hipsters look like a bunch of wannabe try-hards.  Oh, wait...

I took this photograph on 5 May, 2011.  It really is my current tablet rig. ;)

I would love to win this Acer tablet, as my current portable rig is an Asus netbook. It does not have a touch screen and that makes me sad.

:D.

I have a laptop and a feature phone. I work in tech support, and it would be fantastic to have an Acer Iconia A500 to get up to speed on tablets /Android.

Thanks

If I win this tablet I can cancel my iPad order.

It sounds like quite a decent bit of gadgetry really. As for my current rig, i'll have to find that at a later date
