I currently have on older dell desktop computer so something I could carry around and sit in my armchair with my feet up instead of always having to sit at my desk would be really great.

I currently have a desktop PC and would love to stop being confined to doing computing in just my office.

Currently dont have a setup.

Would like to have a tablet to try and implement it at work - as they will never accept being told it will work, only impressed that it will work (when they havnt had to go and buy a tablet!)

I’d like to get my hands on a Acer Iconia A500 tablet because Iconia  is the fabled planet that lies in the Romulan Neutral Zone,  home world of the ancient Iconian species, who constructed stargates that allowed them to travel to other worlds as easily as opening a door.

I am really hopeful that the Acer Iconia A500 is more than a tablet – it is a stargate device allowing other worldly travel which would be way cooler than just looking at stars on a Ipad with the Star Walk app.

This pic show you the state of my current stargate - broken and way out of warranty

Would love to have this for a decent Android experience, at the moment all I have is a humble (yet well liked) Huawei IDEOS.

I currently have small el-cheapo Ideos android phone. Having one of these awesome Acer Iconia A500's would be wicked because I could finally read books on an electronic device. I have literally hundreds of e-books on my 'to read' list but the small screen of the phone makes it hard. The tablet would be perfect!

I've had trouble getting my APN setup correctly on my phone. It must be the lack of a qwerty keyboard:

Seriously I have no tablet as I've given away my tc4400 a few weeks ago. So would love to have one.
Cheers for the entry!

Im leaving my entry late as I don't want to peak my competition skills too early for next weeks LG Optimus 2X Android handset giveaway. They would make a nice pair. Geekness requires I have to carry 2 at once as Angry birds doesnt play nicely with Nokia.

I was using an HTC HD2 which I got cheap due to the cracked digitiser, new digitiser on the way from China. Backup phone still going strong but not much good for browsing or emailing. The A500 would definitely be a welcome addition to my gadget family. I use my phone more than my laptop now so with an android tablet I'd probably ditch the laptop completely.
