I think anything would be better than my Witstech A81G.  It doesn't have enough memory to run Honeycomb, and I have yet to find a USB modem that would enable it to connect to a 3G network.  As such, it's limited to home, or free WiFi use.  Also, its built in GPS seems to suffer having weak reception, possibly due to a poor internal aerial.

Samsung Spica

My "Little Tablet" - well at least it runs the same o/s as the Acer, just a different version.

My little tablet got me around USA, UK and Paris recently on a 42 day trip and was esp. proficient in getting Googlemaps to navigate us around the UK as we had no GPS and 500mb data from Vodafone UK.

Would love a tablet computer and have looked at a few such as the Motorola Xoom in USA and the Acer here in Auckland.
Great devices but not so sure they are as portable as hone when travelling (though better than the netbook we took away with us)

I have a samsung galaxy I5503T with firmware flashed to android 2.2 European, its quite buggy and crashes when im writing a text sometimes.
I'd like this tablet, it would be good to use to check my facebook/tumblr and read the news while i sit on the bus in bumper to bumper traffic in Christchurch at the moment.

I need an Acer Icona A500 since I do not have a tablet and the best foundation for such a device is the Linux kernel!

I don't currently have a tablet :(

I have however bought Acer products before so I would be overjoyed to win their tablet.

I feel pretty lucky with the phone I have currently (iPhone 4) but these Honeycomb tablets look really compelling and they'd be awestruck for showing off my photography portfolio :D It'd be an amazing upgrade if I got this!

I feel pretty luck with my current phone (iPhone 4) but these new Honeycomb tablets look really compelling and reasonably mature as products. It'd be an awesome way to show off my photography portfolio if I won it!

I am well behind the times.  Not because I am technologically ignorant but simply because technology costs.  I am currently typing this on a desktop computer bought in 2001.  It has 256 RAM and a 40GB hard drive.  It is also on its last legs as I cannot update Windows XP anymore and I cannot install any programs.  Unfortunately, it has been more important to feed and clothe my ever-growing son and put petrol in my only form of transport - a scooter, than it has been to buy the current technology.

Please consider this to be my desperate plea to become part of the elite, technologically advanced, human race!

My rig?
SLOW AS MOLASSES Presario 1700. Heavy and radioactive.
Will melt anything it's placed on and my gonads are Kryptonite green.
I hate Apple and can't afford their silly iPad but would love this
A500. And I didn't win Lotto yet again this week....

I would love one of these, at it will make my daily commute on the bus considerably more pleasent.

Here's a pic of my current 'rig'

My mum and dad made it for me. They didn't do a bad job. But it's starting to show it's limitations. It runs Android 2.2 ok. But there's no way it's going to be able to run Honeycomb.
