The Acer tablet would be a great replacement for my aging Dell netbook!

I recently moved my desktop computer from the computer room into the lounge and set it up with a digital TV tuner card, so we can deal with the analog TV getting cut off.  Only problem is that now, instead of my wife using her computer in the computer room, now she's always on my computer in the lounge.

If we got the tablet, she could browse the net with the wireless and I'd get my computer back...

I have a gaming rig, graphics tablet, Nokia 1325 and PSP 1k :D The majority of the time my rig is under-utilized so an Acer tablet would be nice to cut back the desktop's uptime and use as a mobile device which I don't have currently (no phone, ipod or laptop).

My current portable computing set-up consists of a four-year-old laptop with a faulty battery, meaning I can only take it off the power for about 15 minutes before it dies, and a three-year-old cellphone which does not cope particularly well with websites or general internet activity.

This, coupled with the fact that both my parents own iPads and flaunt them around me, means I am in dire need of a tablet. I have actually taken to holding up my laptop as a makeshift tablet when I'm reading online, but it doesn't quite cut it unfortunately.

Would love the Acer Iconia - I had an iPad for a month or two at the start of the year, but then my business partner said he wanted it for "testing".  I haven't seen it since!

I found it very useful (briefly) for note-taking in meetings, as well as a great browsing device. An Android device with USB port would fit the bill nicely.

Given that I no longer have the iPad, I have uploaded a picture of my Lenovo ThinkPad T500 - my workhorse machine.

I must admit we are a family of toys, laptop each, mobile phones everywhere. I decided to jump onboard the ipad bandwagon and got one for me. Unfortunately with 4 daughters this purchase was never going to be without drama.

One of these would hopefully ease the tension - for a little while.

Well an android tablet would round off my newly acquired Motorola Defy nicely and it would spare me the need to support apple...  And the Iconia looks pretty damn cool

Hi, I have an old Dell laptop with two dead batteries, so I can only use when plugged in to mains power.  Not really a portable!  A new tablet would be perfect for me.

To win this would be very cool.

Been wanting to get a tablet for a while, not only for my own use at home, but also an educational tool for the kids.
