.......sure its an Apple laptop, a pretty cool one at that.
Although the extra screen space that the Acer has would be nice

Would love to post photo of my rig (HTC Desire) but it's broken :( What better to console a broken heart than an even bigger toy :)

I have a netbook now, which my wife is always on. I need the Acer tab so I can actually use the internet in my own home!

While I have some iDevices, I have two reasons why I would love the Iconia A500.

1. Wife is going to Asia soon, an Iconia would be just right for her.

2. I am keen to become Android literate!

This is my Gingerbread tablet.

I'll be honest, the battery life has exceeded my expectations, but it has let me down in a few key areas...
I might sound like I am being pedantic, but it's screen uniformity isn't great, the touchscreen is unresponsive and the wifi doesn't want to connect to my network.

Google did mention that Gingerbread wasn't built for tablets so I guess thats a good reason why I'd very much like some of that (delicious) Honeycomb goodness.

I need one because I have no tablet, or at least my current tablet only has a 4.3inch screen, so its not quite the ideal design for a tablet:

I already have this real sweet PS3 styled bluetooth gamepad to use with it though, so really if I win, everyone wins, because the inevitable geek youtube vid demonstrating emulators will be awesome!

Would love a tablet to replace our front counter computer as it is only used to access our website.

  1. Brought the first Android I ever saw (LG GT540 over a year ago) now LOVE Android, I now need all the honey comb goodness I can get... (Plus my screen is scratched up something wicked)

  2. I have to work with a room full of iOS fanboys whom I'm working hard to convert.

  3. Where I work I have to sell iPads and A500's - its not fair to be teased...

  4. More generic answers that you prob wont read

  5. The only thing lamer than an iPhone is the iPad.

  6. Lost my camera so I can't upload pic... A500 has 2 cameras... Just saying

I'd love the Acer Iconia for taking notes at uni, much easier than lugging a laptop up the hill to uni, and when I get bored I can just switch over to angry birds! Would also compliment my current X5 very well. Ohhh And i'm a poor student :D
