So how does it feel in the hand? You say it's nicely finished but would it be too heavy for an older woman (83-ish) to use in bed or around the house?

I want her to stop being all
:(

and start being all
:(

Well, I am currently kicking it old school .. check out my set up here:

I really could do with something a little more geeky, you can't begin to imagine the hassles I get. Plus, the reminder service isn't very good on this platform either.....

I'm rocking a kindle at the moment which is wonderful for reading, but the web browser is ridiculously bad. I get sudden urges to check the news/email/recipes and this little ACER beauty would be just the job.

I run an internet radio station from my basement.

AndHow Web Radio @ www.andhow.org
World-class, always eclectic, indie, alternative, modern rock, retro and more internet radio since 1998!

I need a Acer Iconia A500 so I am not always confined to the studio to work (as much as I enjoying being in there!!!!) Cool

Yes, I'd love one.  I don't have a tablet at all.  Of course no self respecting geek needs a solid reason to desire new tech :-)

My wife keeps stealing my IPAD, and its her birthday coming up, so I thought I could upgrade to the
Acer and let her have the IPAD for a birthday gift - win win.
