I currently have a HTC Wildfire. After a week of getting it I found that it was not powerful enough to enjoy the full android experience and the LG Optimus 2x really makes up for what the wildfire majorly lacks, a GPU.

I need an LG Optimus to demonstrate to my sceptical father that Android phones are actually alright.

Also my existing phone is rather antique and I need an injection of coolness.

It'd be a huge improvement over my Huawei 8150. All that lovely screen space and speed would be heavenly :)

Well this is my current beast... a somewhat battered and bruised Samsung Galaxy S... running CyanogenMod 7... which reminds me, I need to upgrade to one of the newer nightly builds ;)

As for why the LG Optimus 2X would be ideal?  Well 2 cores has to be better than 1 ;)

I have a U8150 which is my first smartphone, have had great fun learning android but it's about time i got something a bit more powerful so this would be perfect.

Would also love to try using the HDMI out and see what that was like.

I have a nice new SGS II. And it spends far too much time in the missus hands, so she would get the phone when I win;).

As much as I still love it, my Nexus One is getting a little long in the tooth.  Having used my colleague's Galaxy S II, really wanting a dual core phone.

Don't have a photo of the phone itself, but here's a screenshot of my home screen.

(Fairly highly customised CM7.1 nightly - battery level images are my own creation, with assistance from UOT kitchen to rebuild the framework-res.apk file.  Visible desktop widgets are clockr evolution and Nexus One LED Flashlight)
