I'm currently running an iPhone - but having seen my daughter's and a friend's androids in action I'm tempted by this Optimus!

I would love one of these. If it goes as long as the A500 tablet competition I don't know if I will be able to handle the stress!

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

This is a small collection of my previous phones (the ones that still go... most die a sad death lost or drowned on some boozy night) The LG Optimus GT540 on top is my fav, - just needs a bit more grunt i.e. 1Ghz Dual Core processor or some thing...

Also I never got a Acer Iconia A500...

Because my wife now has Android envy, and two Optimus 2x's will give us the power of four (cores...)!

Ok so this is what I have now:

I got it from the Mt Albert inorganic rubbish collection. Although I know it is both responsible and cool to recycle, this phone has no capacity to store contacts and texting is more like tapping. On top of all that I am going to Australia next week and I strongly suspect it has no roaming capability.

It would be a nice upgrade from my HTC Desire, keen as! Yet to own an LG phone, so would be nice to also test out LGs top of the range gear.

My Nokia E71 just doesn't cut it and having a ringtone saying, "Autobots - Roll out!" would be awesome! #winning

I have the original SGS, want to get on the dual core bandwagon, would be nice to win the LG Optimus 2X, otherwise will look to get SGS2.

OK, so my current rig isn't too shabby:

(Yes, I made that coffee at home)

But seriously, who can ever have enough gadgets? I would love to have this one adorning my collection of Androids, I think my collection is close to attaining critical mass, and becoming the self aware entity called Skynet - if that happens we might get to see what actually happens after skynet becomes active, and then there will be no further excuses to be subjected to endless Terminator sequels! WIN!

...and don't listen to those who would unfairly discriminate against me in the competition because I'm fairly well stocked with gadgets as it is!

I have this awesome 4 year old Samsung SCH N931. It has many features such as a calender and a calculator. But I don't think that's enough to make me on top of the world. An LG Optimus 2X would provide me 3G service....(finally) and be able to surf the internet on a mobile device instead of my pc (finally)......It would also be my first smartphone (finally).....

My IDEOS battery is slowly dying, can't go more than 4 hours without a charge, and sometimes when I charge the phone overnight it fails to reach 100%.

I need a new battery, but a new LG phone with a new battery would be better. Oh what I could do with an Android phone that has a dual core processor and an 8MP camera...

Dual cores sounds amazing, I currently have a IDEOS X5, love it but more power I wouldn't complain about!
