Hi all!

Well Christchurch is still shaking and i'm now have a play with voice text to speech generator.
got to do some thing more than look at the TV falling off the stand :P

any way I'm looking for a really good one that sounds like a person (if they can).
been doing the Google thing for hours today.

So any one know of any good ones?

In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.

I use http://www.naturalreaders.com and find it very good.
On their website they have a try it box so you can try out the many different voices available.
I found the standard microsoft voice is pretty good, but it lacked customization ability so it could not learn to pronounce maori words better.
Voices I like, at&t Crystal, acapela Ryan and Heather. These cost money but are worth it if you want a easy to listen to voice.

The best natural voice we have found by far is Australian Lee Voice from nextup.com

Edit: This is one of the Nuance RealSpeak set of voices on the website.
