I found on Mercury that my bill got slightly cheaper or stay about the same when I moved from the fixed price deal to the current rate. I looked a moving to Meridian, but the small savings weren't worth the bother.

If your bill doubled it may have something to do with the cold weather.

After Mercury had sent the letter about the 3 years fixed plans.
but we didn't respond cos don't want a fixed plan.

Today received 2nd round of the letter asking to join the 3 years fixed plan again lol..
