after being on geek zone for a few months know, every time i start a new thread of comment on some one Else's Ive had to go to gmail to do the spell check, it would be very help full i think but maby I'm just being ignorant and its alot more work for them to set up.

Opera contains an inbuilt spell checker that underlines misspelled words in red as you type.

There is no such word as "alot"!
