Asking here since there are probably lots of people that work with office crap in their day jobs.

inorder to keep track of invoices, a friend and I got some self inking stamps that say paid and entered.

The only brand on them is dixon and they were anything but cheap.

But either we are doing something wrong or they just suck, When stamping things there are giant wads of ink left that will soak thru 4-5 pages, all the corners of letters and the middle parts of things like the E's and D's just fill in and after about 5 mins the stamp has bled into a giant red blob on the page.

We havent added any ink to them or anything that would cause this, are they just crap?

I only buy the expensive ones from NZ Stamps. You get what you pay for. I only have this issue if I top up too much ink. Use the stamp another 50 times on a scrap pad.
