cgrew: I am not talking about agricultural aerial spraying; Geo-engineering high altitude aerosol spraying is what I stated, or in other words the fight against "Global Warming." The lack of transparency, strategy & structure leads me to believe that the whole "Global Warming" plan is a hoax. Perhaps Earth goes through cycles, and the heating up & cooling down is part of its natural organic process?

Yes, I do speculate that there is more to this matter when the "scientists" and large corporate businesses decide to fund large scale and not to mention under the radar research projects that are costing, you name it - us!?

Dude, you really do fall for all of them.

That comment was radical not to mention over-the-top. No, I'm not suggesting EVERY flippin climate scientist in world. There are in fact, climate scientists from both sides of the party that agree or disagree with Global Warming and the outcomes that are associated with it globally.

I acknowledge your sense of dull humour, but I think you will find these "events" could have potentially harmful consequences for planet Earth if they haven't already. And whether you choose to believe it or not, Global Warming & the political/scientific input that branches off of it, oppose a concerning threat to our planet.

I think the main problem with discussions around HAARP and the like on Geekzone is that most users here tend to work and live in very logical and data driven lifestyles.

Perhaps alternative forums may get more traction with this argument.

I was introduced to HAARP by a person at my work who also told me the USA had also placed remote control devices in the nose of every airliner in the world. At that stage any credibility around this persons theory on HAARP evaporated ...

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

Our planet will be fine whatever we do. It's survived ice ages and massive impacts.

We humans however might get a bit hot, chilly, hungry or lose some prime real estate. Let's not talk about "saving the planet" though. It will be just fine whatever we do.

And I'm afraid by inference you ARE in fact suggesting collusion between every single credible scientist (and anyone else even remotely involved)  in the world if you are trying to suggest there's a widespread secret scheme in place to spray the atmosphere with magic dust (or whatever)...

You're also suggesting that every single good person that's gone into the field with the intent of exposing it has been converted and now partakes in the deception of the public at large.

You can't have it both ways, if there's a global conspiracy then there are tens or hundreds of millions of people involved keeping it from the rest of us. And those many millions of people have never lost any proof that's fallen into the hands of the media, they've never gotten drunk and spoken about it, they've never had a crisis of faith and exposed it.

It's simply not a credible theory.

Cheers - N

Do you know BurningBeard, that if "We" Western civilisation actually gave up all of our luxuries, your computer games, fancy cars/boats, designer clothes, chocolate & ice-cream, not to mention all the degenerate corporate money making organizations, we could in fact save all of those "starving civilisations."

Rather than Geo-modding our food (which I & a lot of people don't want!) or Governments letting the "working-class" people sponsor a child for a $1 a day - These starving people wouldn't be in this predictable if it wasn't for the lust of money, greed & power.
I believe the population has been manipulated and are ignorant. Do you people actually believe that the world is ticking by smoothly and it's all fine? I can't even began to imagine how you would survive in a third world country.

Without the internet and the access to information where would we all be??

It's given us the ability to learn things we never knew, question those we didn't, and along the path, learn some more.

It's all too easy to get a point where we buy into rhetoric, rumour and pseudo science without taking a little extra time to think past the motives of those that promote it.
Science-fact, rather than science-fiction.

All science can be manipulated for the wrong reasons, but that doesn't mean that a theory (or it's implementation) should be ignored, shunned or consigned to conspiracy theory. We'll never turn back the clock on developments like nuclear energy or rocket propulsion systems, despite the fact that they have been (and will continue to be) used for reasons that have already affected mankind in negative ways... they give us great benefit and hope too.

The internet is the greatest tool conspiracy theorists have...
the irony is who conspired to let them have it???

Really?

So, just by not having "stuff", suddenly poor countries will suddenly have "stuff" of their own?

Wow, it's so simple! Do you mean if I just give up chocolate, give up Fallout 3 and not buy expensive clothes, starvin' Marvin' will somehow have crops that can grow in droughts, have vaccinations, and get an education to make his life with? Cool!

If you feel so strongly about it, what are you doing on a computer right now?

I give you the Serenity Prayer... I'm not a religious man, but this is just common sense.

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference.

The "degenerate corporate money making organizations" as you call them provide much needed resources in greater quantities than any one else to the starving civilizations.

I have luxuries and "fancy cars/boats," because I/we work dammed hard and deserve them.

BurningBeard that was a pretty sad answer? My point is, if all the money in the world that supplies us with these "luxuries" was used to save the starving people of this world, then we could all live equally, and still enjoy our lives together. But that aint gonna happen unless people start making a difference.

KiwiNZ, good for you, I'm sure all of those assets that you have acquired & worked "damned hard" for will be well worth it in the end when you pass on.

So because ones life is finite one should not enjoy it?????????

Sorry you have a very bad view of life and the World around you.  Life is for living and life is good, but it's not
going to be handed to you on a platter you have to go get,, sitting inside on a computer with a "Oh woe is me
Oh woe the world is going to end" just is not on my agenda.

I don't know if the above is correct or not, nor am I implying that it is incorrect.

What I will state is that I believe that even if this is the case, I don't believe their is the will to do so, even amongst the majority of those that do believe this.

And theirin lies the problem that I have with the vast majoity of the hypocrisy of "saving the world".

I do have to wonder though how reducing the amount of money spent of luxuries actually helps with starving civilizations, apart from the obvious that food could be purchased for them. It's not the spending on luxuries that stops food from getting to the people that need it, it's the excessive amount of food that is wasted through both being discarded and over consumed every year. It would probably help with the worlds waistline epidemic as well.

A good article to read on food waste is http://www.nytimes.com/2008/05/18/weekinreview/18martin.html which states that an estimated 27% of food available for consumption is wasted every year in the US, and this one here http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/7389351.stm which states that an estimated 3.6m tonnes of food each year is dumped in England and Wales. I'm sure just taking the amount of food that is wasted each year would save these "starving civilizations" let alone getting people to just eat what they need.

Anyway, look at me haarping on about this - somehow we've gotten wildly off topic. Each to there own I believe. My wife believes they faked the moon landings...

I'm not saying you can't enjoy the things you have? And I'm certainly not saying to not enjoy life? But if that is all you value, assets & nice cars etc? Then you are living a very materialistic life wouldn't you agree?

Also, you do not know that life is finite or not? There could very well be more to the life that you have on this Earth.

And by the way, I appreciate your strong point of view but you are terribly wrong - I enjoy the life I've been given very much so & I live life to the fullest. I just hate seeing people in this world that can't live or even survive theirs.

Don't forget KiwiNZ, there are millions of people on this planet that would die for what you have.

Communism has been tried... Didn't work out so well as far as I recall, even on a non-global scale.

I've tried twice on that chemtrails website to post about Doctor Nick's dodgy credentials, and asked just what the heck the Kaikoura earthquake hoopla was about. Both times my comment was removed. Seems that she only wants to hear from people who don't question her on the hard stuff.
