Anyone here with a VE Commy?

I have driven them, but never looked in the boot.

I am looking to buy one sight unseen tonight. Is the boot space good?

I can fit all my tools etc from a 2004 Ford Mondeo station wagon boot into a VE sedan boot just.

If it didn't look out of place, I would use the VE sedan for every day work, but it just doesn't look right eh?

[edit] Sorry I just realised that didn't answer your question very well. The boot space is amazingly big, but it is a big car. Do you mean you are buying it without looking at it first?

Yes I did mean that, although I have actually seen it a few times, just not with the intention of buying it - it is a close friends daily driven company car in Wellington, 103,000km on clock, full service history.

I have a mid size wagon at the moment, but never fill it right up, so it sounds like the VE will be fine (mostly my share of band equipment or me and the kids).

I have a VE Commodore, the boot is huge and with the Bootlid hinges no longer protruding into the boot like on older models the effective space is great.

I can fit 3 fuel tote tanks for the boat, life jackets grap bags change of clothes and sundry others and still have space.
