timmmay: I got two invites, but I see no point. I read an article last night that said the main users were technical guys in the USA, and google employees.

There's over 10 million people using it so that's a bit reductive.

jofizz: I also am an Apps user, so no Google+ for me yet. Surely they could have got it sorted by now?

Cheers,
Joseph

Google Buzz and Profiles Still Not Available for Apps Users

No wonder Google Buzz was also a failure, none of the Apps users could use it!

Seems Google never learnt their lesson with buzz and now they shooting themselves in the foot once again, this time for google+

I joined and only check it once, maybe twice a week and with not a lot happening. Most of my friends still use FB so even though I'm not a big FB fan I will be using it for the time being.

I'm really enjoying it ... I'm enjoying the conversations and the techie type and educator type people who are on there - I think the trick is expanding your circles and following new people - I put random people in a 'holding pen' circle and as i see them post I either uncircle or move them into another circle.

I'm still figuring out social sites for example when I go to gmail I'm getting emails from friends who have left posts on a friends site the guy who actually invited me so I go there to reply its like we all go to his page to chat, how do I get them to my page to chat not that it matters but is my google plus page suppose to be so bare looking? Is this uncool to have a dead looking page lol. Do I start a topic on my page where being friends they will pick it up in their email and it starts from there. No big deal but its just all confusing nowhere like a forum. And honestly I can't understand what makes social sites so special. Whats so different with creating your own forum and inviting people to head there. Those facebook creators must be laughing all the way to the bank!

I'm going to stick with googleplus just got to get use to it.
