Hi freitasm, eventually I thought it would be moved here but not untill it had made it past the first page atleast :-O

And out of my own interest I was merely observing who would be the first members to comment on the thread.

Anyway, here is what was posted in the other discussion:

Okay first off I must say, it's been rather a long time since I've posted on here. I hope that everyone had a good Christmas, of course not forgetting about the 6.0 magnitude quake we received on the 23rd of this month. Very unfortunate & twas rather close to home!

Moving on...

I'm gathering that this will no doubt be pinned to that stereotypical thread up top ^^^ where all the cool people hang out but I always enjoyed posting a new topic on this site. So deal with it.

Now, lets cut to the cheese

Can anyone try & explain this or share any light on the matter as to why or how these clouds could of "naturally" formed? I'm sceptical about this at the moment & still sitting on the fence.

On to a different subject, chemtrails (Also known as geo-engineering) Anyone care to explain this??

Oh & theres this one too, the old "It's just a contrail you silly twat!" Well actually no... Contrails are saturated ice vapour & are a known phenomenon. This however is not a contrail - you cannot simply turn off a contrail... (Unless of course you rapidly decrease in altitude!)

This video is just cool. People holidaying snapped this.

Enjoy!

P.S - I chose the thumb for the avatar of this thread because like most of you out there, I choose to live ;-)

^^^ What Skolink said.

Those videos offer proof of nothing but known phenomena.

I was into some crazy conspiracies once upon a time, but even the chemtrail conspiracy was too nutzoid for me. It'd take some phenomenal mental gymnastics to ease the cognitive dissonance in my head in order for me to ignore all the stuff that doesn't add up in the theory.

I read a great article in Scientific American the other day titled "Wired for Weird." It was basically about the pattern-spotting mechanisms in our brains and how they are to blame for many of us believing irrational things.  Erring on the side of caution and sensing threats was of an advantage to early humans. Better to assume it's a large beast rustling the trees instead of assuming it's just wind lest one becomes dinner. Some of us have more active pattern-spotting mechanisms than others. The price we pay for our cognition.

We're wired for weird and being sceptical is kind-of counter-intuitive for humans and requires effort to maintain.

And a full BBCode reference here.

I did try that and it didn't work, strange...

freitasm: The UFOs! The UFOs are coming! It's the end of the planet!

At the end of 2010 I made a list of faux-psychic "predictions" for 2011, and one of them was an increase in UFO reports due to the 2012 thing.  I was close.

slightly OT.  Maybe one day there could be a test forum here so that folks can test out things like inserting pix and videos  etc??

Wait.. you mean Air new zealand are part of a global badass project to kill us all?

OHNOES!

Took this from my lounger out in the Sun yesterday..

Dunedin to Auckland flight passing over (I know this as I have equipment tracking said aircraft) with contrails that magically are turning on and off!

Then again... The weather/winds did a 90deg an hour or so later. Totally not related.

No. Actually Air New Zealand has no idea of the devices The New World Order Government puts in their planes. Those are black boxes marked with "Top Secret" and built into the aeroplane by the manufacturer.

;)

And there we go... The bad thing is that the White House needs to actually send out a denial. Imagine the amount of resources wasted with these nutcases...

White House Denies CIA Teleported Obama to Mars

According to Basiago and Stillings, Obama isn?t just lying about his identity. He?s lying about his military service record, too. While his political opponents in 2008 attacked him for never serving, in truth, he was concealing his participation in a hidden CIA intergalactic program hosted at a California community college in 1980.

Obama wasn?t the only one making the otherworldly voyage. As ?Barry Soetero,? the 19-year-old Obama was one of 10 youths selected to secretly teleport to and from Mars, forming a band of interplanetary Teen Titans. Regina Dugan, the director of Darpa, was another member.

Between 1981 and 1983, Obama is supposed to have visited Mars twice, by way of a teleportation chamber called a ?jump room.? Basiago, a fellow chrononaut, told the website Exopolitics that he saw Obama ?walk back to the jump room from across the Martian terrain.? To acknowledge his comrade, Obama is said to have told Basiago, ?We?re here? ? apparently, ?with some sense of fatalism.?
