There is absolutely nothing to indicate this is the case, and is nothing but people spreading FUD.
Even those trying to purpetuate the rumor have had trouble trying to produce a single piece of evidence to sustain the myth, the ship hasn't even visited any of the ports in Australia that ship yellow cake.
crikarika: I'm here in TAuranga and signed up to help clean up. Went around and took some pictures (14th) of pilot bay, alonng the strip and Papamoa. They don't do it justice, they don't convey the rank stench of petrol, the atmosphere or the emotion in the air. Here they are if you'd like to look I've made it public

sbiddle: Shipping data isn't that secretive, ships are classifed and their AIS data (which is what has been collected by numerous people to graph the position) has category information that states whether ships are carrying dangerous goods for example.
sbiddle:I found the AIS data free on the internet in five minutes.
The company in Stuff today is receiving nothing but free publicity for their "specialist technology and software" is anything but, for a few hundred $ anybody can buy hardware and receive the very same data tracking ships that are transmitting AIS data.

IlDuce: Am I missing something? How come there was breaking news banner on TV1 1-2 hours ago saying Rena had broken up, yet there was nothing on Nightline or on stuff news?
