@Byrned Oh, I'm sorry, does my lack of historical knowledge predispose me to not having an opinion I'm entitled to freely express? How silly of me! Have I been misinformed about free speech over here as well as pretty much everything else? Maybe you could either follow what I was saying or don't, picking up bits and pieces here an there won't give you the full picture. I'm well aware that I don't have the full picture on this anyway, hence the numerous questions I have been asking. At least I'm making an effort to immerse myself here.

For every action there's unequal overreaction? :-) enjoy NZ, live here a while before trying to change it

Yeah, slightly unequal and opposite overreaction, that's me though. As long as you know I was being sarcastic, couldn't find the sarcastic smilie though. Thanks for the kind words anyway, that's real sweet.

Sarcasm is exceptionally difficult to convey in writing, especially between nationalities, for Kiwis, the phase "yeah, right" and "yeah, nah" may serve you well.

Down with the system, except the court system which we will use as we see fit. That's it for me, I have officially lost interest in this "movement".

I agree with you John, the only people left are homeless people wanting free food and accommodation and maybe a few actual protesters who don't really even know what they are protesting about anymore....

"protesters"? I think they moved on long ago. What you are left with a agitators. "Homeless" is also a strong term to use, a benefit is provided to ensure no-one is homeless, those who choose to wonder the city streets I include in the agitator group.
