Hi all

So I've been having pretty rubbish performance, the DSL is up and down like a yoyo. Before I go any further I think I need to get a splitter installed so I can remove internal wiring from the equation - house was built in the 50s and I strongly suspect the wiring may be original!! So is there anyone out there who can install a splitter in Christchurch?

Many thanks

I don't know of any one in Chch, but would you be able to post pic(s) of what your wiring looks like. That way people on here can have an idea of the state your wiring is in. Cheers.

Hi guys,

I've had a few enquiries re Christchurch installers. I'm Waikato - Auckland dealer / installer for:

They specialise in rural broadband options, but they can also do cabling etc. So get in touch with them and they should be able to help with Christchurch master splitter installs. Ph: 03-929 0020

Chorus has spent $1.4 billion on making their xDSL broadband network faster. If your still stuck on ADSL or VDSL, why not spend from $150 on a master filter install to make sure you are getting the most out of your connection?
I install - Naked DSL, DSL Master Splitters, VoIP, data cabling and general computer support for home and small business.

I use "A Electrical" for all my electrical work, they're excellent - . They completely rewired my 1920s bungalow just before the earthquakes (excellent timing as there was steel conduit) including running cat6 between a few rooms, coax for T/C cable and replace my aging phone line with cat5 (which almost doubled the speed of my DSL connection).

Tried both of the companies recommended above.

Tried secondary contacts where available on their website.

Left messages on their voicemail.

Guess how many called me back?
