I'm not sure were this should be so its here :-)

I'm in need of some CW1308 Twisted Pair so I can rewire from my splitter to various new ADSL and POTS positions in the house.  I know that RS NZ sells it but it seems to be lengths of 100m or more.  Are there any local companies to Auckland that sell it, I don't need all the crap that a warehouse or Dick Smith would add on!

Hi Chris

I gather you are refering to what is called in NZ as Homelan (2pr) or 6way (3pr) telephone cable - (CW1308 isnt a standard that was adopted in NZ) . Both of these cable types have been now been replaced as the standard internal cableing for telecomunications wireing with Cat5e (4pr).

Back to where to get it from - even thought they have been supperseded as the cableing standard you can stll by them but our only choises for such are small amount are from a retailer like Dick Smith, Jaycar , the Wharehouse, Mitre10, Bunnings etc who sell it off the reel by the metre
