All phone are off the one port of the woosh phone unit.

He has an rj11 to bt plug into one phone socket which connects to all the phones in the house, the incoming line was cut with some hedge trimmers and a call placed to telecom to "get that F***ing cable out of my yard" with great delight ;)

If you have the type of hold described here then the problem isn't software, more likely the type of DC feed to the phones.

I'd love to know what's special about these phones you're referring to. From what you're saying Woosh may support Hold with some phones and not others. I'll have to try some other model phones with Hold buttons.
