out of curiosity i checked an address that i know has had UFB for many months now on telecom and slingshots website to see if they would work, but they seem to think theres no UFB there. meanwhile on snap's website, that says there is UFB there!

reason why im checking is my nana seems keen to get onto UFB (i think she thinks it'll make her computer go faster)
she's in kaiapoi and will be getting UFB in july ish and i wondered what companies interconnected with enable.

doesn't seem like it would be hard, why havent they done it yet?

Expanding UFB coverage into a different area means having handover with that LFC, and then performing full end to end testing to ensure everything works fine.

To turn your comment around - if it was easy, it would be done by now.

Telecom have had trial customers on Enable for a while now and have said that will be launching officially in early 2014.

There are trial customers and I believe the official launch is soon enough. There are many complexities in getting ufb. If you message me or email me "pl at telecom.co.nz" then I may be able to get you on the trial too.
