A few months back VF advised that they were very close to being able to offer UFB in Christchurch over the Enable network.  Is this any closer to actually happening? I know of 5 others who are on the verge of signing up for UFB with another provider because of the delays.  The network has been live in our area for over 12 months now, so would have thought that was plenty of time to test whatever needs testing from VF's perspective.

The Vodafone website has said "Coming to more areas soon" for a least the last 6 months.
Maybe whoever decided on that wording should look up the definition of "Soon".

They asked the Telstraclear people who were in charge of getting the T-Box to market...

If UFB were available at my place and my ISP didn't offer it I wouldn't remain a customer with them for long. Why not just sign up with an ISP that is offering the service you want?

I was wanting to use Vodafone so I could have a Suresignal as the cell reception at my place is poor with any telco. I'm sick of waiting now so I will probably just sign with another ISP when I get round to it, and might also look at changing my cell phone provider then as well since the Suresignal won't be an option without VF broadband...
