And to those saying use VoIP.... will I be able to transfer from Orcon Genius to 2Talk/Wxc and keep same number...  it was originally a "POTS" line/number, then ported to Orcon Genius, so I assume it can be ported to another VoIP provider ?



As long as you are staying in the same calling area, porting your number is no issue.

(Unless you are going to Telecom POTS and have an original Telecom number and have moved since)

As far as I can see, Actrix fall within your requirements.

I too made the move from Orcon, and yes in my case to Actrix, and what a pleasure it is to talk to someone actually in New Zealand who speaks without a strong accent.
