This is the best speed I'm getting to the US via Fibre during the day.  Downloads are being extremely limited in speed, uploads not so much.  There are no spikes at all.  This is a steady result all through the day to 11:59:59pm

At exactly midnight, the speeds magically increase to full speed.  For me that's 30 down/10 up.

Surely there has to be a better way of managing bandwidth capacity. For those paying for dedicated bandwidth, they should get all they have paid for, and the rest of us should get what's left, but that's not what's going on.

Have you tried talking to their helpdesk?

I can't speak for full flavour but it's highly likely they are managing their bandwidth for the benefit of all their customers.

The speeds you have posted above are typical of smaller providers trying to make the best out of international.

From memory 30mbps of international transit is $2500 + GST and i'm guessing you're not paying that much per month so you might just have to live with it or move providers.

I tried to contact them a few times via email but they are ignoring my queries.  I'm guessing they don't want to explain exactly what they are doing to limit bandwidth.  It was all good when I first signed up to Full Flavour late last year but now it's now worse than my previous DSL provider.
