l43a2: 20mbit upload. LOL
AidanS: IMHO, having a datacap somewhat defeats the purpose of such speeds. Not to mention the deal will only last for 3 years before Chorus charge full price for a gigabit service. Though I still wish I could get it.

From what I gather, UFF only charge the ISP $10 more for gigabit down vs 100 down
I havent followed the chorus gigabit pricing.

What a joke, I thought it was supposed to be a symmetrical line?

GPON isn't symmetrical so why make the plans symmetrical?
ripdog: There's no reason for it not to be 1000/500. I have no idea what UFF are thinking. Upload speeds are more and more important these days.
Steam: Coil (Same photos as profile here)
Origin: Scranax
Currently playing on PC: Rust, Subnautica, CS:GO, AOE2 HD, BeamNG Drive, BF1.
TimA: You can't max your line speed, Due to the TCP overhead on the upstream will be like 60Mb/s

Okay I concede that point but surely a 1000:20 ratio is a tad ridiculous?
Mikrotik are a great managed device for our business customers, this way we can provide a better end user experience by managing their business router for them.
