The address checker (not a map) on Chorus' homepage shows the current connection speed/type.

Check this weblink:

Jase2985:

im pretty sure the main chrous map is working properly again so you dont need to use the 2011 site

Any ideas when we should see Chorus maps updated for UFB2? I know there is a pdf list, but some of it is a bit non descriptive. Such as "Dunedin"

Yes, ages ago  - here - someone posted a link that showed what addresses in a street had.

Not what might be available. Actually had.

I remember there were several with VDSL, a couple on fibre etc....but it was quite some time ago now, over a year? Can't remember.

Yep, that's the one I posted - right on the front page of http://chorus.co.nz. It shows the current connection for the few addresses I tested.

Chorus has spent $1.4 billion on making their xDSL broadband network faster and even more now as they are upgrading their rural Conklins. If your still stuck on ADSL or VDSL, why not spend $195 on a master filter install to make sure you are getting the most out of your connection?

Thanx.  Put my address in and  "Fibre up to 1 Gbps by the end of UFB2 program"   VDSL for the next 4 years I guess  but it's not too bad 35 down and 10 up.

Regards,
