Thanks for the feed back very illuminating.

I have a fitted wardtobe in a room in middle of house which has a power plug in it predating the building of wardrobe.

If installers happy to run 15m (in huge roof space then right angle down through ceiling into top wardrobe )
of cable/ducting oncecable/ from where phone line currently attaches to side of house that would work well.

My dad's just had something similar done (Chorus area) with no extra charges so it should be OK.

My fibre comes in overhead, goes down the side of my house, under the house, up through a conduit to the ceiling space, across, down through a gap into a high cupboard. The install doesn't have to be in the room closest to the road.
