I believe it is inappropriate to post general gossip in a thread where the OP has asked a specific question. This increases the post count and noise and decreases the chance of getting relevant and useful responses. I believe the original question was very clear in it's scope and intent.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

freitasm: OP asked question, people replied to. If OP doesn't like the comment about the question, reply about the comment. DO NOT ATTACK ANOTHER USER.

In fairness, the OP could have provided a bit more context than one line in order to receive better feedback in the first place

There is no further context. All feedback about Kordia UFB is relevant.

There is another good reason I don't provide too much information. This is to avoid the inevitable debate it causes from competing providers, ISP fanbois and people who's understanding of the Internet industry is on the 'consumer' side.

Update - It's not looking like Kordia is going to fit my requirements. They insist in supplying CPE and my router is a lot higher spec'd than the one they are wanting to use.

MichaelNZ:
s.joseph: Im going to keep this fairly vague but over the last month or so we have had multiple outages with Kordia, I would not rate the service good at all.

Thanks. This is the sort of response I was after. By "service", do you mean their customer service as well?

Nope, the customer service is actually pretty good, the network itself in the last few months has been sub par with multiple outages. If I were you I would stay clear.
