There is no such thing as an "in-building VDSL temporary solution".

There are providers out there who provide inbuilding DSLAMs offering xDSL based services, this has nothing to do with Chorus.

Interesting. I'm just going by the information that was handed onto me from the building manager. I was told that this was an option that was suggested by Chorus.
I don't work in telecommunications, so I can only ask questions based on the limited information I've been given.
