Jetstart was quite cool; you had the same upload & download speed! (compared to now, when you have to pay more for faster upload) Smile

What was really cool about it was the ability to log into user@jetstreamgames and download demos and Linux distros at full tilt. I usually got around 700k's downloads!!

Roll on the Suse DVD's...:)

I seem to vaguely remember you could actually tunnel out of the Jetstream games realm using suitably tailored DNS queries to their DNS servers and a suitably configured DNS server on the outside world...

You are using a Mac with Safari, aren't you? If you have Javascript set you should see the rich-text editor...

Use the buttons, Luke!

Thanks very much for your reply, I'm sure it's not the first time! :-)

I am using Safari on OS X yeah, and I had seen that toolbar but if I'm really honest I never really paid any attention to it because it looks like that bar out of Office 2003!

My apologies, I will use it from now on :-)

Supposedly not throttled, but apparently ihug is angry at me for going on a downloading spree on the last day of the previous billing month (earlier this week). It was the same yesterday, too. If I wasn't so terribly lazy, I'd ring the helpdesk and complain.

Also, Mauricio, Opera sadly doesn't seem to support the toolbar either.

freitasm: Yes, Opera does not support the functionality required for the bar, so we disabled it from loading on Opera browsers.

Opera has supported contenteditable for quite some time. That said, it of course has it's own quirks and foibles like every other browsers' implementation of it's own contenteditable type system, and I've been too lazy to get Xinha working with Opera or Safari myself, so I'm no-one to talk. And this is off topic, but it's more interesting than yet another my-internets-is-faster-than-your-internets match.

You haven't gone over the 2GB daily limit?  That restricts you to 64kbps.  Otherwise, that's awful!
