My VDSL went up this week from a respectable 25/10  to 39/8.  That's a great increase.  I'll still get fibre next year but if fibre wasn't available, I'd still be perfectly happy with that speed.

Looks like I got mine, but my speedtest results don't match! :(

A neighbour across the road has also switched over, and his speedtest did go up...

We're both on 2degrees so I'm not entirely sure what is going on...

someone else here had an issue much the same. Solution was to re-establish PPP session IIRC.

Talkiet: Tell ya what, when they are finished with the scheduled upgrades, if Chorus don't pop in here and mention it.. I'll come in here and update you all once they give us the confirmation that they have finished.

Cheers - N

in a perfect world the 10/12 but if not all are done and a network brown outs start could very well be next year the it is all finished up. Would that be a fair comment  do u think ?

And this is the problem. Things change. That date for example is already definitely wrong.

Cheers - N

that drops sync speed for most users (as most of the lines were connecting in the middle of the night and getting better syncs than they'd normally get; same as just after power cut).  i don't know how to do it on his modem, but there's probably a way somehow.

i personally didn't lose ppp with the bandplan change, but i'm bridging to linux box.  so i can just restart ppp session on linux.

you may be between the first and the second change at that kind of time.  my second change happened after 4 am..

the second change boosted speeds more than the first for me.

this is the second boost in DL sync speed in a week it went from 24.9 >> 39.4 >> 40.3 but UL has stayed the same well virtually the same it has lost 3Mbps from when I first had VDSL installed it gone down from 10 >> 8.9 >> 7.1 which I didn't think 998 was supposed to do
