I was thinking the same thing, surely it would be simpler (and possibly cheaper) to just get an unlimited plan?

Ahh.. you city folks with your flush'n toilets, 'letric powr and all those shiny teeth... If only we could get an unlimited plan.

Like many rural families, we're on RBI wireless. Which has been a godsend for those of us who were spending $500 a month on satellite.

One of our RBI providers - previously our satellite provider - Wireless Nation, who are trialling Nightshift, gives us 30GB with 50GB off peak data.

From the other, Ultimate Broadband, we get 150GB daytime, 150GB off peak.

We regularly burn up the daytime data before the end of the month (have kids). Anything that would shift a chunk of it to off peak looks good to us.
