clog: what relevance is 12mb/s. I only ever said i have ADSL1 with std sync rates.

sooo.....

get RBI wireless or live with ADSL speeds as there is no upgrade currently planned for your cabinet

quickymart: Hmm, looks like ADSL1 with a rate like that...

It is ADSL1 no way anyone could get 12Mbp/s on that connection it's not just possible

I thought a few posts up someone said his cabinet is due to be upgraded under RBI? Or did I miss something.
Edit: I meant Cbfd's post.

Not according to the map or any ISP i converse with. When the others were upgraded in the past i got rather excited when the map showed all were now offering ADSL2 or VDSL.
However, chorus then admitted they made a mistake with the map and indicated it was still ADSL1.

Still pretty stink, but much better than the rural junk NZ gets served up with on ADSL1.

ADSL1 line speeds are adequate, but backhaul capacity is the issue.

Yip HNE/AG looks to be a RBI cabinet which is why I was trying to get more information from the OP if they insist it's the cabinet they're connected to.
