T
hese guys have been ripping people off for years now. About bloody time things caught up with them.

Quite clever of Vodafone though doing it at this time of the year though I think. Hard to churn services away this time of the year with Chorus slowing down so the only option customers have is to go to Vodafone Retail if they want things to keep working.

It sucks for the businesses affected but at least now they can't carry on ripping people off.

I thought the bloke running that outfit was dodgy from the start. I feel he shouldn't be allowed to leave the country until he sorts out his business obligations. Not sure what I think about his former staff who left to start their own business (who he blames for screwing up his own).

Yea I think they should make him stay too. But he's probably so stupid he will only go to AU where they can get him anyway.

People generally wouldn't leave and do there own thing unless they think they can do it better. Really not hard to do it better than Intagr8 Haha!

We have a few customers we "begged" not to be tricked into buying these great deals. They all regretted it immediately and now they are even worse.

If there's criminal offending involved (i.e. fraud) and complaints get laid quickly enough, a border alert can be put in place to lock him up at the border - if he can't be located beforehand. My experience is people usually don't involve police quickly enough and a number of fraudsters freely head off overseas. From that point there has to be a very high level of money involved before extradition will even be considered.

Saw that, plus their NZ mobiles no longer work and they are out buying new phones in AU.  They are not coming back.

If criminal charges are laid for fraud, they will be back to serve their sentences.

What an upstanding, honest businessman. Wonder what the customers who supported his business "model" are saying about him now?

Speaking to a few of them things have been bad for a very very long time. Just continuous broken promises from the initial sale, equipment that was on the sales order not being supplied, the worng services provisioned etc.

Just an a-grade piece of sh1t.

I hope the commerce commission (or maybe even SFO) have already got on to AU customs and maybe made their entry in to Australia good and difficult.

I suspect that all the profits were channeled into his trust account  so that they can't be touched..
