Hey,

Moved house recently (Dunedin) and wondering if anyone knows what the fibre install timeframe is like/how it works.

We applied for fibre 8 weeks ago (Bigpipe) but the Chorus system thought there was already an ONT installed (previous owners had fibre scoped but didn't proceed with install), it took two weeks to get Bigpipe/Chorus to realize there wasn't an ONT so we could start the fibre install process. After five weeks we had the fibre scope (April 1st) and then Chorus came to install it on Friday (8th April) but our order was changed from installing the fibre to just setting up the modem (because Chorus thought the ONT was already installed) so we didn't actually have anything done.

Chorus said they have to go fix the error in the system and then they can make another order, so after eight weeks we seem to be almost back at the start.

Presumably the install date was allocated to us six weeks ago, does that mean we will have to wait another six weeks before the next install date?
