Have been told by my ISP that OneFibre/Vocus currently under DDOS attack and have been for the last day or so?

 

Anyone else aware or am i being feed porkies?

Well, seems like porkies, got fed up with waiting and just rang Vocus NOC and no issue's reported.

 

Appears that NZ Technology Group / Onefibre are having a meltdown....

It affected one of our backup links. I too was told that it was a Vocus DDOS issue, when in fact our primary link is via Vocus and was working fine. So we took down the BGP via NZTG / OneF and everything was fine from then on.

 

Havent decided if I want to bring it back up yet.

yeah - my guess is DDOS is a convenient excuse. when it was faulting recently there was little packet loss but what seemed like an almost 0k bandwidth profile. hopefully sorted now, but three, pretty much full days with issues is trying to say the least.

 

 

 Edit: Just taking another look at the graph Singapore latency seems to be taking a hit where the others have returned to where they were.
