Anything earlier than the demarc? I had an issue that was eventually resolved when a better tech figured out that for whatever homebrew reason in the distant past, there was actually a branch in the cable before the "first" jackpoint.

Other than that, any power cables or other sources of EM interference is close proximity?

Just to clarify you're plugging the sky box into your router network? not into the internal home phone wiring, right?

Hi shane, did you get a fix for this yet? I've had an issue like this before with one of my customers, it turned out it was something chorus refer to as a multiple. Basically they had a terrible mess of cabling in their area because it was put in the ground before dsl was used. It's quite unlikely chorus will ever fix this because of the cost of network grooming, you might want to look into getting off the chorus copper network if you have the telstra cable network in your street that would fix everything.
