No real mention of what happened.  But probably something with Vocus.  It just started working this morning by itself.  I just left it plugged up ready to go.

I have to accept the fact that they use a wholesaler (Vocus) and that these faults may take a while longer to sort out with their arrangement.

But when its going, it seems fine.  Tomorrow I should be provisioned for 200/20  so will see how that works

This was one of my tests with myrepublic so my ping is improved.  So that must be good right?

I am happy to of escaped MyRepublic and still be contract free.  I can hopefully live with 20mbps upload for a while.

Can't they see my gear or ONT remotely?

They can't. UFF and Enable lets ISPs check ONT remotely but Chorus doesn't.

Made it onto the 200/20 plan but speedtest eventually winds up to 180Mbps or so...  Looking forward to this weekend to see if we get onto 1Gbps/500Mbps.

But speeds are generally awesome.

If that's over Ethernet it's disappointing.  I believe they only interconnect in Auckland though so you should try testing to there.

Ethernet (Cat6). This is all the Auckland OOKLA options for testing if that matters.
