Hi,

I order UFB June 2016 i'm having a hard time getting the consent to my landlord for 11 months. When i checked the chorus app tracker today at app.chorus.co.nz the status is Set-up for build, Is this accurate? No update from my isp.

How long is the Set-up for build will take?

The Chorus App reflects the same information as the internal Chorus Portal that your ISP sees. So if you ask your ISP now, they'll also tell you that you have consent. (Of course, this depends on Chorus having entered the information into their system accurately, and knowing Chorus, I'm not going to say 100% that you do have consent.)

The set up for build can take 3 months or more, depending. But at least the hard part is done now! (Hopefully!)

I assumed most landlords would be happy to get Fibre installed... Its an asset to the property.

ohh ok.. the fibre is already laid on the main street 1 year ago. Some of my neighbour now using fibre. so the set up for build is where they will run the fibre from the main street going to my house?

It's for the fibre running down the shared driveway. (I guess you live in a shared driveway?)

Yes 2 house sharing the driveway.

Yep so in step 2 they'll run it down the driveway, in step 4 they'll run it to the outside wall of your house, in step 5 they'll connect it up inside.
